Workshops

For students, effectively communicating design concepts and details through imagery helps them better understand their own designs and create a quality portfolio of work that can lead to more satisfying internships and, upon graduation, meaningful design positions.

For design professionals, clearly and efficiently representing complex concepts to clients and co-workers saves time, money, and frustration, and it ultimately leads to a more fulfilling design process with fully realized potential.

Matthew's hand rendering and Sketchup workshops give students and professionals the tools they need to create outstanding sketches, perspectives, and renderings to support their ideas, allowing them to fully realize their abilities as designers. Class sizes, lengths and content vary to best suit the needs of each school, professional organization or individual.

Since 2001 Matthew has lead workshops for Wisconsin Chapter ASID, Madison College, Mount Mary University, Waukesha County Technical College, MIAD, UWSP and many Milwaukee area designers. He received his BA in Interior Architecture from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point and his MFA in Traditional Illustration from the Academy of Art University, San Francisco.
